AIMS OF ASSOCIATION 

Biotechnology Association is established in 1986 to contribute the introduction of biotechnology in Turkey. Association commits the attempt of making biotechnology conception as a part of state policy in Turkey as in developed countries as a mission.

Biotechnology Association is an institutional member of European Federation of Biotechnology as a national association. Association has nearly 400 member country-wide. Members of association are generally composed of scientists and industrial employee that study in the agricultural biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, food biotechnology, medical biotechnology, pharmaceutical biotechnology and environmental biotechnology branches.

Biotechnology Association ensure coordination between biotechnology industry employee and scientists. Also by organizing national and international congress, symposiums and conferences biotechnology association provide information flow between these members.
